I have bought food grade silicone lids for when my company and I sit outside on deck and don't want unwanted critters (like bugs and flies) getting into our drinking glasses. Place the lid on the rim of the glass (wine glasses in my case), apply some pressure to the center of the top of the lid and suction will be created to hold the lid firmly to the rim of the glass. Lift the rim of the lid and the suction will stop and your chosen drink is ready to drink without annoying bugs swimming in the drink. Also washable.
