ignore opponents. This product is easy and convenient to use.

Great product for making casts of anything. I've used it to make molds for various lure models and they all came out great. I see several reviews saying the product sucks and others saying don't buy it. All I can say is that you are doing it WRONG! If you use warm water you're already screwed. Water at 80 degrees actually feels a bit cold. The warmer the water, the faster it freezes. I don't like the 50/50 mix ratio a bit, but that's my opinion. I like to add an extra ounce of water to thin it out a bit, which gives great detail and sheer capability. I've made several casts from this pack including arms, legs and a face and still have a few left to play with. The trick is to find a waterproof container that's slightly larger than your cast so you use less product. I use old baits. melted in an old microwave for my baits. This product is holding up very well. If you cast a larger piece you will see steam and bubbles from the melted bait but in the end when it cools down you still get great results and very few bubbles. Please don't be put off by negative reviews. Not everyone can read and understand the instructions. Some people don't even try something small to see how a product works before jumping into a real project. I haven't failed a single project yet.

Pros
  • Easy mix ratio: 1 part warm water (27Β°C/80Β°F) to 1 part Alja Safe powder by volume
Cons
