Review on Lamsky Daylight 🔆 Replacement Contact - Non-Dimmable by Adam Grady

The seller stated in the attribute list that they are not dimmable but the specs say they are dimmable. I've tried a Lutron lamp dimmer designed for LEDs and it works, albeit in a limited range down to maybe 30% brightness, by eye only. I'm guessing it's due to a load of only 4 watts, the lamp dimmers may need a little more load to deliver full range. The application was to replace the incandescent bulbs in the dissecting microscope to increase illumination and reduce heat when using the light underneath. Scene. The brightness is too high, so I will use a piece of 3/8 inch thick plastic cutting board on stage to act as a filter and make it easier to take care of the instrument, win-win.
