Nice bright light but I had to crop it to

I installed this in a Pfaff sewing machine to replace an existing dim bulb. A very big improvement and my wife is very happy with it. The electrical contact pads on the lamp base were higher than the existing lamp and prevented the new base from penetrating the socket far enough to allow the bulb to be rotated and locked in position. I had to cut the pads to make them shorter which allowed the bulb to fit all the way into the socket and rotate all the way. Now it works great. Cutting the pads…

The lamps are very bright, the color corresponds to the declared

The seller stated in the attribute list that they are not dimmable but the specs say they are dimmable. I've tried a Lutron lamp dimmer designed for LEDs and it works, albeit in a limited range down to maybe 30% brightness, by eye only. I'm guessing it's due to a load of only 4 watts, the lamp dimmers may need a little more load to deliver full range. Great replacement bulb for my 15W 120V incandescent --- Half the price.

This "Lamsky BA15D Dual Contact LED Bulb Bayonet AC110-130V, 4W 6000K Daylight, 40W LED Halogen Replacement Bulb" replaced the 15W incandescent bulb in my Fantom handheld vacuum that blew out a long time ago. It's sold as a 40w replacement but as it only draws 4w that's a lot less than my 15w bulb so I ordered a 2 bulb kit for the price of a single bulb.
