This product cannot be used with the current version of avrdude or WinAVR because the firmware is already 10 years old. You'll need another AVR programmer to flash it, leaving you as a trapped 22 buyer wondering why you bought this in the first place. an old laptop with a parallel port card that I had to dig out of a closet. I bought this programmer so I wouldn't have to dig up the old mothball system, but since they didn't update the firmware *ten years* before shipping, I had to dig it out anyway. Use zadig to download the driver to your computer. Not sure if that works at all. A bit disappointed that I bought this.
