Review on CMT 796 001 00 Router Extension Collets by Victor Olsen
Large wrench Required
Very strong looking extension cord. Happy ending to everything. However, a set of 1-1/16" and 3/4" wrenches is required to tighten. What disappointed me the most is that its collet "locks" the router. When you loosen the cutter there is no secondary loosening, so the bit/collet/nut sticks together and needs to be tapped with a hammer. Not too much of a problem with a plastic hammer, but I'm not too keen on the idea if it's a storage bit with a small threaded element on top.
