Ideal for video streaming from your laptop. I've tried connecting my Macbook Pro to my TV through many different sources to stream all the yoga videos. All I got was poor display quality and stress. I've seen other cables that come with HDMI to HDMI and Thunderbolt converters and didn't like that I had to buy 2 different cables. This solution was cheaper, costing 1 cable, eliminating unnecessary connections. So easy, just plug it in and then choose TV Sound in the Control Panel on my Mac to hear the sound from the TV and not the laptop. Definitely a great buy! On site :)
