There were "Gremlins" on the dining room ceiling where the lights flickered at night even when the wall switch was off. Googled and found "my new thing of the week" when I found out that the lamp on the dimmer needs dimmable lamps. I was afraid to order new LCD bulbs because I didn't know if they would be compatible with the dimmer switch in my dining room, so I ordered these dimmable bulbs as my google search showed they would work with the old dimmer switches. Lightbulbs work!
