Each valve has 2 inserts and a metal clip. The inserts consist of two parts, an expander and a pin. The included extensions are 1/8 inch longer than what you get, so be sure to use them. The front flaps are easy to assemble. The rear ones are more difficult, so the front ones first. For the backs you will need a wrench or 10mm socket to remove the screw from the bottom. Use a screwdriver to remove and pull out the pins from the extensions. There is a plastic nut on the top that you can loosen with your fingers. The screw stays in place. Attach the shield to the fender, making sure the molded "clip" in the shield grips the plastic of the car. There is also a metal clip that you need to install, make sure it grabs the plastic. When inserting the Tesla, a screwdriver may help to pry the Tesla plastic up a bit, then try the metal insert again. Around the pin and To install the expander you can place a block of wood on top of the tire and use the handle of a screwdriver to insert the pin.
