Professional-quality pottery wheel at an affordable price!

Failed to load media. As a teenager and into my 20's I spent years taking pottery classes and for years I wanted to start again, but the challenge has always been the need to have access to a potter's wheel. Over the years it has seemed unattainable as most potter's wheels can range in price from $500 to $1,500, which has always seemed too much of an extravagance to justify a purchase for personal home use. Then, by pure chance, I stumbled upon this potter's wheel at Revain for a little over $200. I was a little cautious and wondered what quality could be at such a low price, but I decided to take a chance and order it and I'm glad I did because I'm extremely impressed with the quality of construction and design of this device. This is a pro-level potter's wheel, but not at pro-level prices. The construction itself makes a strong impression right off the bat - it's clearly made of high quality steel with strong welds. You also don't have to worry about it falling apart or not being strong enough to handle the speed of spinning a wheel and truly hand-handling the clay for a successful pottery session. The device weighs approx. 30 lbs and has rubber feet on pegs with strong grips for added stability and comfort and confidence that even on the highest setting - when the motor is revving at 320 rpm - it won't wobble. , fall or tip over, whatever. Speaking of power and speed, this device has 350W, which is incredibly powerful and perfect for shaping and shaping clay on a wheel. Add to that the ability to easily increase or decrease speed by switching between hand controls and foot controls (using a foot pedal) on the side panel. There is also an option to easily switch the direction of rotation of the wheel itself, clockwise and counterclockwise. I also appreciate features like the detachable bowl, which snaps securely into two pieces and is just as easy to take apart for cleaning. (Because let's be honest, while pottery is fun, it's messy! There's a lot to clean, but the removable bowl makes cleaning that much easier.) Plus
