This is a pro-level potter's wheel, but not at pro-level prices. The construction itself makes a strong impression right off the bat - it's clearly made of high quality steel with strong welds. You also don't have to worry about it falling apart or not being strong enough to handle the speed of spinning a wheel and truly hand-handling the clay for a successful pottery session. The device weighs approx. 30 lbs and has rubber feet on pegs with strong grips for added stability and comfort and confidence that even on the highest setting - when the motor is revving at 320 rpm - it won't wobble. , fall or tip over, whatever.
