Review on πŸ“€ Dynex Progressive-Scan DVD Player DX-DVD2: Superior Home Entertainment Experience by Sabryna Wickings

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Meets all requirements but don't expect much.

I needed a DVD player that was compatible with my old TV, but all I could find at retail were expensive, new-fangled HGs and internet devices that were out of the question. My Dynex DVD player costs less than a third of what others cost and that's exactly what I was looking for. However, there are two disadvantages. First, the instructions that come with it are very minimal, so you can go to YouTube and see how to hook up a DVD player, and second, it would be nice to buy a "switcher" to hook up a TV and DVD player to you So you don't have to plug and unplug all the satellite and DVD cables from the back of your TV every time you switch between TV and DVD. I'm still trying to figure out which button does what on both the player and the included remote, so a guide would be helpful. With that in mind, I'd recommend the Dynex DVD player if you're looking for old-fashioned audio and video I/O at a great price.

Pros
  • Good construction
Cons
