Review on AOC C24G1: Ultra-Smooth 144Hz Frameless DisplayPort Monitor with Height, Pivot, and Tilt Adjustments by Richard Silhoutte

This is an amazing monitor. when he works Colors are vibrant, blacks are deep, the stand is amazing. All in all, fantastic packaging for the price. However, I knew that with such a great product, AOC had to cut corners somewhere. And unfortunately, it looks like warranties and customer support have been chosen. My first monitor had a dead pixel, which I didn't see as a big deal at the time. However, in just two days, the dead pixel turned into an entire black bar across the width of my monitor. I have sent an email to AOC customer service but they have not yet replied to me. I ended up just checking the Revain replacement program in a little window that said this monitor was back in stock. Got a second one and my replacement just arrived today, both work fine with no dead pixels. Let's hope it stays that way, otherwise I'll have to deal with possibly the worst non-existent customer service I've ever dealt with. Pros: - Amazing colors for VA panel; Honestly very impressed - 144Hz, 1ms response time, FreeSync, blah blah - No major backlight leaks (mileage can vary on my devices anyway) - Stand is solid and amazing, height adjustment is a very useful feature - Design . not as cool as the G2 but the design is good enough for me too - Unbeatable price for what you get. and it takes time to get used to, but it's not the worst thing in the world
