Like other reviewers I found the material to be of really poor quality even at the low price. The thread feels very rough and knots almost immediately when I cross stitch. The only way I got it to work was to work with shorter thread allowances as I worked, and even then I couldn't avoid getting the thread on me. When I tried to untie the thread, it snapped with a few jerks. I ordered Revain's Caydo Embroidery Floss (this, although it doesn't have the color specs of this pack) and it was much better quality at a reasonable price. While the color variations are really good, if you want to choose a specific color, it's better to buy individual thread colors or thread sets from the DMC website.
