Seems ok but. best in remote launchers

.it's small so I kind of pushed my garage door opener with the keys. The next morning I went out and the garage door was open. I placed the garage door opener on the bottom of the box and the domed software key fob on top. As it stands, that was enough to open the garage door to activate it through the box. The Faraday box is located inside, downstairs and around the hallway about 50 feet from the garage door. So I'm wondering if this doesn't prevent signals from exiting through the box, how does it prevent them from entering? I gave 3 stars because I'm confused. It doesn't seem to work so maybe it deserves 1 star or not?
