Received yesterday. Note that you will need to cut and snap the connector if you want to install it permanently. Either that or buy another 4 pin connector. For now I have it plugged into my existing 4 pin connector installed on my truck. It doesn't look great. But I will connect it as soon as I get another 4 pin connector. Hardwired with 4 pin connector. With my Ranger 2021, it thinks there is a trailer attached to the truck. This makes me lose the rear camera output lines and rear sensors. The headlights are good but not worth the options I have. I'm going to try attaching it directly to the taillights and hope it works. Installed a fixed cable, being careful to stay away from the trailer connector cables. Even if installed with these cables, the truck will think you're towing and lose all redundant sensors again. So installed with the help of cables in the taillights. Everything works, but if installed like this you will either lose running lights on the light panel (solid red lights at night) or bright brake lights. Also noticed that the left and right signal cables are reversed. Now that I have had this product for a month I can tell you the following about it. DO NOT BUY THIS! If you use the trailer plug on Ford Ranger XLT 2021 you will lose your rear sensors! I then connected this to the tailgate lighting. The tailgate light bar worked for a full week, now NO RIGHT PUSH, only PARTIAL LEFT PUSH. But have full operation on REVERSE and RUNNING RED LIGHT. Do yourself a favor, don't buy this. I would return it but after removing the 4 pin connector I feel compelled to keep it and plug it back into place. TO THE GARBAGE!
