Bought on October 2nd, no they don't come with an A/C cord which you definitely need for the touchscreen to work. Quality is improved by using only one VGA cable to connect the monitor to the hard drive. I spent the money to buy a good quality HDMI cable for it. The connection very slowly loses the quality of using a mouse or touch, and the picture on such a large monitor is much smaller. Instead, a mouse or touch VGA connection is faster and the image on my screen fills the entire screen. Yes, that's why I wanted a new monitor of this size! Now I have to buy a new VGA cable because one of the kits is not long enough to mount the monitor where it is needed. Very happy with my purchase and love the kickstand.
