Review on Durable White Paper Hot Coffee Cups with Cappuccino Lids and Protective Cup Sleeves - Set of 50 (20 Ounce) - Biodegradable & Compostable by Daniel Bates

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Five stars, highly recommended.

Why I Decided to Purchase: -- Reason 1: Convenience -- I bought these cups for my morning coffee; a reusable cup is now uncomfortable and impractical for me. When I was working in a certain place each day, I would rinse out my travel mug and put it on the corner of my desk next to my keys so I wouldn't forget it in the morning. Today I work in several places. For the rest of the week I forgot my mug in the car or lost it in our offices on my adventures. -- Reason 2: Design -- These mugs were simply designed. No frills or ruffle designs, just white. If you wish, you can write your own statement or motivational quote on the mug. If your loved one loves coffee and is having a bad week, draw a quick sketch or leave a quick "Xoxo" note to help them start the day with thoughts of love and caring! .Okay, okay, I usually just fill up a plain white cup of coffee and move on. It's rare that someone takes the time to decorate these mugs in my home, but it's nice to have the opportunity. -- Reason 3: Price -- It's cheap. At the time of this review, these mugs are sold in a set of 50 for $16.99, which is less than 34 cents a mug. ============ Thoughts after the purchase: I am satisfied with this purchase and recommend the product to others. I love that they come with a cardboard sleeve to protect your hand from the hot contents inside the mug, but the sleeves are a bit slippery. Maybe the cup is too smooth and the sleeve is too loose. In any case, this is not a major inconvenience and hardly deserves a mention - if it weren't for my only criticism of this mug. When I put a mug on the roof of my car (so I can grab my work stuff from the back seat), the cardboard sleeve slides down and hits the roof. After this happened a second or third time, I found I had to adjust the area of the cup I would reach for. I used to grab the cup higher and the cardboard core fell off completely. After moving my mug handle down so I could effectively grab the cardboard sleeve, the mug sank back into the cardboard sleeve as if nothing had happened.
