I've waited a few months to write a review to see how well it works in the winter. I ordered this tool box so that when I'm off work and someone else takes my truck, my tools won't go missing and be misused. This box exceeded my expectations in terms of keeping my tools dry and durable. I am a professional mover and installed this in the back of my truck. To install it the way I wanted I had to drill a few 5/8" holes in the floor. I was impressed with the thickness of the steel. I can't comment on how waterproof this thing installed on the outside of the car but I installed it at the very back of my truck and when the cargo doors are open this thing catches on rain and snow and I haven't let any moisture get inside.There was a small dent on one side from shipping , so as a suggestion for improvement I would just give the company some foam in the box it comes in as UPS isn't exactly great for heavy packages.
