It did what I needed but with a volume limit
This does what I need. I have an old TV that I use in the garage and I wanted to turn on Direct TV as well, but the audio isn't loud enough to fill the entire garage. I'm buying it for my garage stereo. It does this, but the audio from the audio ports is quieter, I have to turn the volume all the way up to get the audio close to what I want. If it was in the living room for my stereo's surround sound I might be more upset, but it gives me what I need so I don't have to buy a new TV for my garage. I don't think I would rely on that for surround sound, which is what I really wanted to hear. If this rating was for my living room I might be a 2 or 3.
