About 2 weeks after I installed the system it went off in a very strange way. Both the base station handset and the wireless extension are out of service. I couldn't take calls and I couldn't get a dial tone. I restarted everything and was finally able to hear a beep on the base unit speaker, but still not on every handset. I called Vtech support and they were able to reset the base unit. They said to charge the laptop for 11 hours and return the Revain product if it doesn't work. I just checked after 5 hours and get an indicator and beep on the cordless handset. So I'm optimistic, so I gave the second star. But it is very embarrassing that the problem did not surprise Vtech support.
