Review on Inkbird Display Temperature Controller ITC 106VH by Mark Deuschle

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good enough for regular DIY heating needs!

I think this is a good enough PID control system for most of your powder coating and heating needs. I wish they would come out with a more advanced PID system in the future that could control the power of the heating elements instead of just turning on when the set temperature isn't reached and turning off once the temperature is reached (if that were possible) . ) . cause the relay to wear out, although the relay is expected to last many years under normal use). Schematics and instructions could be a bit better. You will most likely need to learn how to connect the power wires (this is probably the hardest thing for those new to electrics) as well as what wires go from the PID pins to the relay. It's good! I am happy with this product so far! Review update (9/18/2018): 40A solid state relay stopped working after very little use. The LED light goes out and it just stopped supplying power or controlling my light (heater). I'd probably order the PID individually (it's good enough) and get a good quality solid state relay so you don't have to go through that.

Cons
