I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who has no programming or electronics experience.

If you're looking for a kit that tells you about the micro-bit and how it interacts with the hardware, look elsewhere. While the mechanical hardware seems fine, the programming part sucks. The wiki doesn't explain anything about what happens to the hardware while the code is running, or how the software works. Actually this is a cut and paste from a website with no explanation.
