Very happy! Although the price seemed high

Very satisfied! Although the price seems high, this press is well built and worth the money. Bad reviews tell me people either actually got faulty hardware or don't know how to follow instructions. Here are my observations after a month of daily use.1. Coffee grounds in the cup? They overflow with water and coffee grounds creep up to the spout. If you're concerned about fine powder at the bottom of your coffee cup, get an automatic drip coffee maker with paper filters. Is it hard to push the plunger? Your ground coffee is too fine and is clogging the sieve, or the cylinder or piston is wrong and therefore defective.)3. water in the lid? I've never had this problem because I don't run it in the dishwasher or submerge it in water. Why would anyone do that? Simply wipe out the inside of the jug and rinse out the strainer in the sink. If you feel the need to wash with soap, use a sponge or cloth and then rinse. Many people have complained that the ad says "6-7 servings" and they only get 3-4 cups. Remember you get 32 fl oz of coffee. That's a quart or 4 cups or 2 pints. A standard coffee mug holds 8 fl oz. Therefore, 6-7 servings doesn't mean you'll get 6-7 cups. I get 4 regular coffee cups per brew which is perfect for me. Use your math skills. Finally, preheating the pot with hot water helps maintain the ideal brewing temperature, which is between 195 and 205 degrees F for about 4min. Enjoy!
