The size description says "Measure the dog from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. inches from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. We couldn't put this sweater on the dog because there wasn't enough material (in width) to fit one of his arms after we put his head and other arm through. The fabric is stretchy, but that's not enough because they skimped on the body. First we tried to put his head through, then each front leg; then tries to assert both front legs and then the head. None of them worked because the sweater was still too tight. The length is perfect and could only adequately cover his body if we could put it on him. The material, as expected, is rough acrylic, which is what I was expecting. I wish this product was made right for the ratio. I ordered it from Stock Deals. I guess whoever bought it back originally returned it because it didn't fit, so it became a stock deal. I am returning this item.
