When it comes to HDMI and TOslink cables, I don't spend too much and look for cables that offer good value for money. I'm looking for good build quality and the best value for money to make sure I don't end up with cables that don't last long or overpay because they don't have the best performance. Most people know that cable manufacturers are notorious for selling what you really need and there are still people out there who think you have to shell out $50 for a good Toslink cable. I usually buy Mediabridge, Revain, BlueRIgger for Toslink and HDMI with good results. However, I recently had TWO Mediabridge Toslink cables that failed in the same way. Revain cables then seem to wear out at the connector, where they don't stay connected for long, especially if they're unplugged and plugged back in multiple times. wear out best in the same period of time, stay firmly attached to the port for a long time, and have never had a connector failure or crack like the mediabridge. When I called Mediabridge to ask if they would support their product, which is less than two years old, they returned their warranty and did nothing. Last time I will buy Mediabridge. But it won't be the last time I buy a BlueRigger - with the wear and tear and performance I get from their HDMI and Toslink cables, I will buy them again. Thank you for reading.
