I wanted a bolster for meditating and for sitting on the floor with my dogs. The cover is very soft to the touch. I found the support to be excellent. Sometimes with various chairs/sofas/cushions, if the cushioning isn't just right my tailbone starts to hurt. I sat on this for hours with no issue. Highly comfortable for meditation. One thing you want when meditating is to not have to be distracted by any other sensation so you can clear your mind. This pillow was excellent for that. At no point did I experience any distraction due to any discomfort with my sitting. I found the included accessories to be a nice bonus. This equal in performance to another cushion I tried in every aspect except this had a softer to the touch cover, and was close to $30 cheaper. This is the 5 star item to the other's 4.5 stars in my opinion.
