This is a birthday present for my 10 year old daughter who is small for her age. She has Down Syndrome and is also on the autism spectrum, but her brother has roller skates and wants to skate like him. His skates are too big and her ankles twist outwards and my back just kills me trying to hold her while she "skates". These traditional in-line skates help her balance and she can learn without breaking her father's back. Quick to put on and take off with 2 straps. The wheels have dents from debris but can be replaced later as it doesn't affect them as we don't ride smooth surfaces on the driveway.
