This is my first time using Anderson terminals and I find them very frustrating to use. I don't have an official crimping or insertion tool, so that could be the problem. I've used many other types of connectors and these are the most frustrating as it's hard to tell where the terminal is hanging if you don't get a positive "click" when you plug it in. I was having trouble finding guides on Youtube until I stumbled across the ham radio community who use these connectors extensively. A clear understanding of how electrical connections snap is important so that you can insert and remove connector wires. Some WD 40 can help lubricate when reassembling.
