Extremely Limited Serviceability

Do they work? Yes. as long as you use them exclusively. As an RV driver and amateur radio operator, I converted almost all of my low voltage connections to a power pole. They don't mix well with dozens of other Power Pole connectors. They don't make good contact with the original Anderson mounts. They tend to fall apart after reassembly and they are definitely of a different construction than any others I have used. I won't be buying them again and will probably just use the red and black…

Pros
  • β˜… Black and Red Housings: The connectors have color-coded plastic housings that mate together upside down to allow for positive and negative wire orientation.
Cons
  • Reliability

My set didn't fit and didn't have holes for the pins.

I have used both original and regular supports for many years and have had no problems. Although I don't normally use pen slots, except when using a lintel clasp, they don't have this hole. I have always found that the Power Poles have a slight click when mated. It's not like this. In fact, some of the metal tabs hung lower than others, making assembly awkward. I'm not saying their entire line is bad - obviously people like them. But my set was far inferior to Powerwerx and Connector Pros.

Pros
  • β˜… Application: Power quick connectors for cars, walkie-talkies, audio equipment and other electronic devices.
Cons
  • Good but not great

Pain in A$$ for plugging in the terminal,

This is my first time using Anderson terminals and I find them very disappointing. I don't have an official crimping or insertion tool, so that could be the problem. I've used many other types of connectors and these are the most frustrating as it's hard to tell where the terminal is hanging if you don't get a positive "click" when you plug it in. I was having trouble finding guides on Youtube until I came across the ham radio community who use these connectors extensively. A clear…

Pros
  • β˜… Scope of delivery: This set contains 20 pcs. black cases, 20 pcs red cases, 40 pcs silver plated contacts, total 80 pcs well packed in a plastic box.
Cons
  • Nothing

Glark's 30 amp quick disconnect terminals fit me perfectly.

I received these plugs in November 2019. I installed some of these on the power wires for a new radio in my car. They looked like the Anderson power poles I've used for years. I had no problem comparing them to the "real ones" that were playing on the radio. The fit was fine. Some other users said that the bolts were not included in the Glarks connectors. In my experience, pins are usually NOT free. My connectors came together and didn't need a pin to hold them in place. It's possible that the…

Pros
  • β˜… Product Feature: Molded dovetail ends that lock individual connectors in mated assemblies to prevent mismating with similar configurations. Sex-free design makes assembly quick and easy and reduces the number of parts to stock.
Cons
  • Not bad

My set didn't fit and didn't have holes for the pins.

I have used both original and conventional supports for many years and no problems. Although I don't normally use pen slots, except when using a lintel clasp, they don't have this hole. I've always found that utility poles have a slight click when they mate. It's not like this. In fact, some of the metal tabs hung lower than others, making assembly awkward. I'm not saying their entire line is bad - obviously people like them. But my set was far inferior to Powerwerx and Connector Pros.

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Very expensive
