I've been using these bags to feed my street animals for several months; Raccoons, possums, birds. They look good and make a fairly clean impression. The photo shows after I rinsed them. They may not be pure enough for humans, but they are suitable for wild creatures. I used to write a rave review but noticed that they smell awful. My animals always ate Planters unsalted peanuts first and sometimes skipped the cat food. Now they eat all the cat food, leaving most of the peanuts behind. I don't know how these nuts are processed, but they shouldn't smell funny, they should smell like peanuts! I don't blame the creatures. I don't order them anymore.
