The new packaging for Tera's whey line is disgusting. The cheap plastic design reminds me of regular GNC powders. The lid feels scratchy when screwed on and does not appear to be airtight. However, the biggest frustration starts as soon as you open the product. Freshness Seal is literally the world's strongest adhesive combined with the thinnest film. There is no human way of tearing off the edge as the film will simply tear into pieces. There is no tongue so feel free to donate a separate nail or two to prove me wrong. Cutting the film and trying to tear it off creates repeated stress as the film continues to break into tiny pieces. Be careful, these tiny particles end up in the product! Once you've torn off most of the foil, it will be impossible to remove it from the edge because the superglue has stuck it to the plastic. Now when you unscrew the lid, when tightening it airtight, just rub pieces of foil into the product. To end the dissatisfaction, the scoop handle was reduced to about an inch and a half. This gives male fingers no leverage to grip. It also ensures that you have to try to stick your whole hand into the undersized hole lined up with the razor-sharp edges of the plastic mold to get the other half of the product out. Packaging used to be so simple, well thought out and practical. Now it's a nightmare to open and your wrist looks like you're going to hurt yourself to 80s goth music. Whoever is responsible for this cost-cutting move may have just lost a customer with over a decade of experience. That person should feel bad personally, their children should be ashamed, and their parents should be in denial.
