Review on 🎨 Abbaoww 100Pcs Wood Blank Tiles: Ideal for Crafts, Decoration, Altered Art & Laser Engraving by Shantel Griffin

I bought these to help prototyping the game. From the pictures and description they looked like other types of wood tiles on Amazon, simple cuts of wood in handy little tiles. Unfortunately, there is a glazed surface that gets in the way of what I intended to do, which is to use colored markers on it. Since they are often picked up and turned over, the paint doesn't seem to stick well either. I can sand them down, try painting and then recoating, but it's probably not worth the effort. I'll probably look for another clean tile. On the other hand, the nice bits of hardwood, the protective glaze looks and feels good, and there were exactly 100 in the pack so there's no shortage. However, they didn't live up to my expectations, and if they're really made for tinkering, it's a little unclear why they should even have a light protective varnish. I personally don't need them. If none of this bothers you or interferes with your intended use, I would probably recommend them.
