Review on 🎡 Black Rotel A12 Stereo Integral Amplifier by Masaaki Haruto ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The price/quality ratio is great, I will buy again.

But all these shortcomings and nit-picking overlap with a good sound. I grumbled so much . I really like the sound! A digital hi-res player S. M.S. L DP5 was connected to the amplifier via analog RCA tulips. Review about him on his page in the market. They are very pleased!

Pros
  • The sound is great! Full of all sorts of inputs, handing digital. True, the built-in DAC decodes no more than 24 bit / 44.1 kHz. I play on modest PolkAudio RTI A3 and AC8851 of Alexandrov project Convenient remote. 2 speaker outputs
Cons
  • - Simple appearance. - Antediluvian LCD screen. -Non-motorized volume knob - wish it had an LED marker and rotated. - I refused to play 24/98 high cuts from the Fiio x3ii player via coax. Plays a maximum of 24bit/44.1kHz. - The relay constantly clicks loudly when switching inputs. - Out of the box came with the old firmware. It is inconvenient to flash the firmware via a DB9 RS232 direct cable with a utility with a y-modem protocol. Where to find the RS232 DB9 cable now will still need to be considered. - And yet, the inscriptions next to the input selection buttons cannot be disassembled more than a meter from it. But it's a handy remote. - Yes, and I do not like the headphone jack for a small jack! The amplifier should be only with an output for a large jack !
