These socks are quite thick to begin with, so they already have a layer of warmth to them. I was a little afraid that the socks would be too warm and burn my feet a little when I walk around, but they are kind of a perfect level. Enough to keep your toes cozy without sweating or burning.The battery is a little weird to figure out how it works/fits in to the socks (there is a little pocket at the top of the sock to store it). But then after, not too bad. Easy to charge. You can throw the socks in the wash which is nice (just not the battery).
