Higher quality than the price suggests

Pros: The mat has enough stiffness and weight that you can be sure the mat won't roll or twist on you. When I first used it tonight the mat stayed in place even on a couple when there was heavy vibration. The riding surface is quite thick and I think it should last a long time. The tee pin allows you to use real tees and is so much better than the rubber tube tees found on other mats. The thick rubber base is able to provide a firm surface on my uneven grass. I just threw the carpet away and everything was fine. Cons: Not sure how long the grass side of the rug will last or withstand being hit with an iron. I can pull weed and nothing comes out. Only long-term use determines the end result. The width is too short, at least in my opinion. There's just enough room on the surface for a racquet face, but it's enough. That's probably a good thing since you don't need an extra surface to swing from, but visually it feels cramped, especially when the two grassy areas are so close together. Maybe it's just me. Of course, this is not a decisive factor. Conclusion: This isn't the first golf mat I've owned, but I can say it's better than others I've used after only a few dozen swings. I'm not worried about the mat moving or getting in the way. I didn't have to struggle with the mat during installation. What's even better, the price was lower than some other garbage mats I've used. If you're looking for an easy and quick setup, then this is for you. Review from a real person who actually bought and used the product.
