Very bright, runs very warm on highest setting

The light is very bright which is exactly why I bought it. The build quality is very good. The size is good too. The only thing that seems a bit odd is that the head gets pretty warm (not burning hot, but hot) when used on the brightest setting. I would have expected that from halogen type bulbs, but thought LEDs would remain cool. I haven’t run it for an extended period to see how long it lasts.
