A must have for DIY bike mechanics

If you have read my other reviews (about mountain bikes) you will see that I have been working with bikes since I was 10 years old. Does that make me a pro? No, but it shows that I know something about tools or not. By the time you're 10, you might have access to a hammer and screwdriver you stole from your dad. We completely disassembled the bikes and rebuilt them with just a few tools, including lacing the wheels and replacing the bottom bracket. That being said, this tool would have been pure magic back then. Almost half a century later, I'm still not a professional bicycle mechanic, nor do I hope to become one. But it really is a must have for any DIY bike mechanic. Great tool, the tool was broken and not worth your time. Here is my brief recap. Is it a great tool? no I have a machine shop and have access to real tools. In fact I make a lot of tools and the fit and finish of this tool does not match the quality you will get in my shop. Why didn't I just make one? My business is not a one stop shop so slotted tools are not my forte plus it costs me a lot more than $10 to do it myself with the expected quality. - Is it a normal instrument? Yes. I mentioned the homemade bike mechanic. Cope with it as a DIY enthusiast or someone who wants to learn how to make it yourself. How often does someone change BB? My Giant is about 10 years old and now when I ride off-road rocky I have to replace the bearings. I also fix some Schwinn bikes. This tool is suitable for Schwinn wheels. Is this tool intended for professional bike shops? For a professional bike shop I would throw this tool away as usage will be very high and this tool may not last as long. Or, if the park costs three times as much, will it last three times as long or longer? This review revolves around the mechanics of do-it-yourself bikes, as pros end up spending more on the tools their businesses depend on, and home riders will only use those tools a handful of times in the bike's life. This makes this a great tool for the DIY enthusiast. It's 10 dollars. If this type fits your bike, feel free. For those with sockets that are damaged, broken, or not fully sinking, you can return them asap and do not "try" them if they are visibly deformed. You can do more damage to your bike. The tool I received had some spatter but the tool looked ok. I made sure the splines were fully embedded, or at least 75-80%, before attacking them with an impact wrench. My BB was very tight even for a punch but I held everything steady and the BB came out. No problem.
