This valve worked very well. The only downside is the poor sealing due to the low height of the washer provided. See the first picture for the valve installed with the required teflon tape on the threads. Even then it leaked a little as shown in the second picture. Leakage occurred in both flow directions. First we tried the black washer that came with the valve. However, as shown in the third picture, the shelf inside the valve was so narrow that it didn't adequately support the flexible black washer. The washer simply deformed into a deflector. The white, stiffer washer that was also included did not have this problem, but as shown in the fourth picture, did not protrude high enough over the threads to form a good seal with the faucet. Figure 5 shows the original aerator with the black washer sticking out of the threads just enough to make contact and slack. Luckily, with a white washer and teflon tape threads, the leak was slow enough that its use was acceptable. The rest of the valve worked fine. The handle rotated easily with enough resistance to hold its position. The valve could even be turned halfway, allowing the faucet to rinse the operator's hands while the water was still flowing through the pipe to the hand held shower head. With the diverter plugged into the shower but the showerhead turned off, the leaks in the diverter didn't increase much. Overall it works well and with a bit of teflon tape it's easy to install.
