Review on Hopkins 06064 FloTool Transmission Funnel by Brian Manfre

This funnel was 3 inches shorter than the 2004 Toyota Prius transmission fluid fill hole. For something specifically called a transmission funnel you would think they Would give you extra length to ensure it works for the transmission in all vehicles. The Prius is a fairly small car, so I think this funnel will be too short for many cars. If you risk buying this funnel, be sure to check it before draining gear oil. If the hose is corrugated rather than smooth (like flexible vinyl), a lot of oil will get trapped in each little protrusion, making this funnel very difficult to clean. Miscellaneous Aside from these issues, the quality of the plastic and the seal between the tube and funnel seem to be pretty good. Otherwise I would have given 1 star. I ended up buying a Hopkins FloTool 05034 Super Funnel and a piece of vinyl tubing from my local hardware store to fit the end of it.
