Instant on (led strip) - unlike the other two I've tried before

I tried 2 "Desktop" 12V LED strip power supplies before I found this one . My application uses a switched outlet, also known as a "lamp socket" in the room. Both desktop PSUs took 5 seconds before the LED strips appeared and if someone didn't know about this they would probably turn off/give up the switch. But if you just plug in a power plug (or plug in a power cord) — flip the wall switch — the light comes on in less than a second. Ideal.
