Review on 🎨 STABILO Carbothello Pastel Pencil Set - 60 Vibrant Colors, 1-pack (1460-6) by Amber Perez

Let me start by saying that I am not an artist, I only paint in coloring books as a hobby. So take my stand for what it is - as an amateur who loves trying new techniques and learning about art. I looked at quite a few reviews comparing different brands of pastel pencils. Most reviewers agreed that Stabilo makes some of the best pastels, and when the price dropped to a whopping $46, I jumped at it. As you can see, I have colored many pages with these pens and love them madly. I can fill in pages in a few hours in one sitting as opposed to the many hours a week I draw with colored pencils. These pens blend and smudge and smudge so well it's no joke! The colors are rich, vibrant and become even brighter when set with water. I don't like using fixer, but these crayons don't create a lot of dust (much less than pastels!), so luckily I don't have to. For the price, these are the best pastel pencils you can buy. I don't know how soft or firm they are compared to other brands but I do know that they blend very well even on smooth coloring paper. I believe they will work even better on a textured pastel matte. 60 colors is more than enough for any of your projects as you can mix any shades on the palette or paper or even mix right on the page. It's worth it whether you're an artist or a colorist like me.
