Review on NETGEAR Nighthawk 6 Stream AX5400 Router by Justin Guldin

Bought to try the Wi-Fi 6 standard, but ran immediately at 5GHz with stability. The ping in FPS games would jump around making them unplayable. Moving to 2.4 solved this problem, but also removed the speed boost. I don't think the problem was caused by the repaired unit, but problems from the start mean I'm not interested in finding out. I was able to bypass the +100Mbps speed increase over the Google Mesh Wi-Fi network provided with fiber service. But due to the lack of additional customization options in the Nighthawk app, I'll look into other options.
