Another disappointing shower cap

I've been looking for a really good and snug fitting shower cap for over a year that also serves its sole purpose of keeping my hair dry. So trust me when I say I understand the frustration of finding a single shower cap that actually keeps your hair dry, literally one of a shower cap's jobs! I was initially very excited when I found this particular cap at Revain after spending weeks, days, hours and then several more looking for a shower cap that would keep my hair dry while being reasonably priced; However, this one is in my top 5 WORST of all time out of the many, MANY ones I've bought and tried. The only positive thing I can give this particular shower cap is that it was the last shower cap I ever found as it can hold a lot of hair. Although I have decently thick hair, it doesn't feel curly at all and only comes down 3-4 inches to my shoulders, so my real hair wasn't the reason this shower cap didn't keep my hair dry. . I never put my head under water when wearing a shower cap (it just defies the meaning of a shower cap), and I only wear a shower cap on days when I'm just washing my body to keep my hair dry in the shower ( aka no shampoo day), so that can't be an excuse for that shower cap not working. To be honest, the day I opened it up and just tried it on, I immediately noticed how loose and unsafe the actual elastic was around my head (I have a bigger than small head). I knew right away in that moment that this particular shower cap wasn't going to do me any good, BUT I still gave it a shot by using it the same night I got in the shower to wash my hair. Body. Needless to say my hairline was wet all over my head plus a few inches - to be 100% honest with you guys (because that's all I want to find in the reviews I read before buying a hat to shower, so I put them on (don't waste my time), I literally felt water seeping under the "elastic band" and hitting my ears while washing my face VERY CAREFULLY (meaning I hardly splashed during this process water on my face). I'm so sad that my search for a shower cap that actually works is still ongoing and that this Goody shower cap can't end the hunt. Girls or boys, save yourselves time, money and frustration and don't do it. Do not buy this shower cap. I really wish the reviews I've read about this shower cap were more honest lest my heart break. :(
