A solid bike rack for the price, it's not a $500 Thule but who cares.
I had to buy an adapter for this to fit my 1.5" hitch downpipe. It felt really good to get off the bumper of my 2009 JETTA sports car. It holds my bike perfectly as it has an old steel frame with a flat top tube. My wife's bike is aluminum and has a larger diameter tube with more rise, but it also fits with no problems. So far it works great. When it's cold outside, I'm afraid the rubber bands will snap or tear if overtightened. I can already see some stress cracks, so I try not to stretch them too much.
