Review on ๐Ÿงน Hands-Free Cleaning Accessory with Auto Empty Function - A Revolutionary Solution for Effortless Cleaning! by Sean Spence

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Fills the bag amazingly fast (which is a good thing)! So far no problems with constipation.

We originally bought an iRobot Roomba s9+ vacuum with an auto dump station but were very disappointed with the lack of features (compared to competitors) and the fact that he often thought the brushes were jammed our kind of carpet (a bit loose); There was no real jam. Therefore, we returned two models (so as not to get a marriage the first time). After that, we gritted our teeth and bought the Ecovacs Ozmo T8 AIVI Premium vacuum and the accompanying car cleaning station that works with it (and a few other Ecovacs models). Here are the links: * Ecovacs Ozmo T8 AIVI vacuum cleaner * Ecovacs Deebot 2.5 l automatic emptying station. After each cleaning, I get a report of where the robot has been and what obstacles it encountered (so I can clean them). high). In fact, I can even see him moving around the map in real time while I'm away. Although the iRobot models do multi-story mapping (like this one, albeit limited to two floors), later on the iRobot models you have to wait to interact with the map (and you can't see exactly where the robot was or which route it took). ). With Ecovacs models you can stop the robot in the middle of a session and add virtual barriers and no-go areas. We set our vacuum to run down at 2am every night and we have a Hubitat elevator concentrator to keep the lights on. then to help the robot navigate (and turn itself off afterwards). So far this hasn't caused us (or the dog) any sleeping problems. When it runs out (1100 square feet in about 65 to 90 minutes), it returns to the auto cleaning station and automatically empties the dust box. At the train station we are then told when we need to change our bags. The nice thing about having to buy the auto blank station separately is that I have a spare charger (which comes with the main unit). So I installed it at the top. Then on Saturday morning when we take Dexter the pup to practice, I put the robot on top of the spare charger and let him go. It recognizes that it has been moved to another floor and sucks according to that map (you can load up to two maps). When we get home, I carry it down, put it on the auto-cleaning station, and command the dust bin to be emptied (which would happen automatically if it was docked at the auto-cleaning station like I do every night). ). The vacuum also has built-in mopping capabilities (if you load it with water and a mop head), and you can buy an optional extension that adds ultrasonic cleaning to the mop. I understand a potential downside is that it may not always be docked when this application is connected. It was ok for us because we collected fur, Arizona dust and leaves brought by the dog (through the dog door). It does this well, adapting its traction to the surface it's standing on (we have carpet and tile) and the resistance it's feeling. So in the end we didn't buy an additional wiper device (but maybe we'll try the wiper functions in the base device at some point). There are also some additional functions that have nothing to do with vacuuming. The camera (which faces forward and is therefore useless when the bot is docked) can be viewed from a distance and the bot can also be controlled. You can even put it in "patrol mode" while it's moving, capture video and save it for later viewing. If you manually plug it in and drive, you can actually turn on the speaker, so you can, say, talk to your dog while you're away. You can cover the camera (they give a cap for that, which is a bit clumsy) in case you're concerned about privacy. Like most of these super-smart vacuums, it uses camera access for navigation ("vSLAM"). In other words, despite the presence of lidar for finding obstacles, it combines both. Therefore, closing the camera makes mapping and navigation less efficient. Also, vacuuming is best, at least in low light, so I make sure to turn on the lights while vacuuming (as detailed above). In general, we are very satisfied with the device. Our carpets look and feel clean every morning, and trash brought in by the dog the day before is neatly disposed of overnight. The auto-empty bag fills up fairly quickly, suggesting it's picking up a lot of dirt from the carpet. Others have complained about long dog hair getting caught in the auto drain, but we had no issues with the auto drain. So we plan to keep this division. We just have to keep an eye on the brushes and the dust box, just like any robot vacuum cleaner.

Pros
  • Disposable dust bag. The multi-layer air filter system keeps dust in the docking station and ensures fresh and clean air.
Cons
  • A dubious purchase for the elderly
