I installed a shade canopy over the bed of my truck, I installed LineX spray on a bedliner a year ago. Therefore, a razor was required to cut the liner on each factory plug. I had to carry 9 of them. After the first two, design a system that is efficient and fast for each installation. They're a bit tricky to set up by bending the nuts so the little base plate slides into the connector hole and still stays connected AND doesn't drop the nut (that would be really bad, it would fall into the hollow part). of the rear fender and the bed would never eject again) Luckily I didn't, but the trick is to have the plate loose enough to slip into the socket AND once you start tightening the set screw is the plate NOT . SPIN how you dress! This has been an issue on several . You need patience and a bit of luck. Some took just 30 seconds to undo, insert, tighten and finish, then it took a couple 5 minutes for me to be tapping my knuckles, swearing and wiping sweat from my eyes while being an acrobat to myself set. Overall I give the product a solid 5 stars, ease of installation was 3 stars for some but ease of use overall 5 stars. Finished product appearance, solid 10 stars! They are easy to hook and tie, making load securing very easy. The shipping box wasn't a giant empty oversized box either. I am VERY VERY happy with this purchase and I saved over $120 compared to retail prices! Thank you Amazon AGAIN
