Review on πŸ” Gskyer Telescope 80mm AZ Space Astronomical Refractor, German Technology Scope for Adults and Kids Astronomy by Jason Flores

Great telescope, handy for amateurs with professional accuracy

I received this telescope quickly, well packaged and 100% assembled in less than 15 minutes. I'm an amateur astronomer with a bit more ambition and aspirations, so I decided to find a telescope that would be good for both near objects and more distant objects. With a 5mm eyepiece and a 3x Barlow lens together I get very accurate images of small crater groups on the moon. It's a bit more difficult to find precise focus as you increase the magnification, but the slow-motion focus knob gives you a sharp image. at any level if you are patient and have a steady hand! As for the tripod I haven't had any issues so far, it's solidly built, especially with the tray mounted between the legs. Be careful not to screw the legs too tight or the screw may pop out. I learned the hard way and now I only have 2 out of 3 screws but the little clip works until I can fix it and I'm pretty sure it's not the manufacturer's fault, I have the screw too tight. I can't say anything bad about the scope at the moment. Only a 25mm eyepiece and a 3x Barlow lens are used in the moon image below.

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • I have no bad feelings about it, everything is fine
