Very flexible and bright

My seven year old is doing homework at our breakfast table and isn't getting good light. He already wears glasses so we wanted to make sure we had a bright enough lamp so he wouldn't have to strain his eyes, but it doesn't take up much space (since we also have to eat at that table!). I liked that this lamp has a lot of "elbows" (one at the base and two in the middle) which gives a lot of flexibility in its positioning. That means it can be adjusted no matter what chair my son is sitting in. The lamp itself can also rotate radially so that we can view it, avoiding glare. The lamp is actually very bright at the maximum setting, but can be adjusted both to reduce the brightness and to change the color temperature (white/amber). long press. For example, the power button is used both for turning on and off (short press) and adjusting the brightness (long press). With a long press, the first time goes in one direction (brighter). Then next time it works in reverse (dimmer). The sun button is used to adjust the color temperature (long press), with the first long press making it whiter and the second long press making it yellow. I tried to make a video to explain it. After getting rid of the not-so-intuitive buttons, I was very happy with the lamp. It remembers the last settings so I basically don't have to change them, and it slides in and out quickly when we're using the table to work or eat.
