The inside of the heel in both shoes was so worn within the first month of use that my left heel bled when walking. I had to add heel inserts to fix the holes in the fabric of both heels. The soles of the heels on both shoes already wear out a lot in the second month. The shoes are comfortable and cushioning, but the quality is below average. If you are looking for an inexpensive hiking shoe that you will only use once in a marathon or only run occasionally, then this is the perfect shoe for you. If you run a lot of marathons or just walk a lot (I walk, don't run, 5-7 miles most days of the week), you'll run out of shoe soles and inner heel fabric before you hit the month mark.
