This stand is just what I need to get my gaming laptop off my desk. With the improved airflow, I've noticed that the fans turn on less frequently. The stand is attractive and durable, with gel pads to protect the sleeve from scratches when carrying and removing the laptop. This should work for most laptops, but if you have a gaming machine with odd corners on the case, this may not work for you if you have I/O ports (like USB, HDMI, etc.) on the back of your computer, on you need access like mine. As you can see in the attached photo, the front of my laptop provides a straight edge for it to rest on in the bracket (giving me access to the HDMI port on the back). If the stand suits your car's design and layout, I highly recommend it.
